NYPD officer Joe Manco’s first solo exhibition of True Detective fan art at Essex Flowers in New York is interrupted when Winnie Deetz (Amy Zimmer) is mysteriously murdered during the opening reception and artist talk. Manco calls on Sergeant MacReedy (Jayson Musson) and Officer Skowhegan (Sam Taggart) for backup. Slowly, a series of steampunk-related clues that Deetz left behind on social media reveal a byzantine and occult human trafficking conspiracy dating back to the early timber sales industry in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
